Editorial & Corrections Policy

How content is produced

Articles are built from verified facts, each traced to a primary source (government, regulator or professional body) with a checked date. Figures are dated so you can see how recent they are. Where a fact cannot be verified, we say so rather than guessing, and unverifiable claims are tracked in our knowledge-gap backlog.

Freshness

Reference data and time-sensitive figures are monitored on a schedule and refreshed when sources change (for example, after a Budget or a new house-price-index release). If you notice a figure that looks out of date, tell us.

Corrections

You can report an error on any page using the correction form on the article. We investigate every submission, and corrections are made promptly when confirmed. Corrections are anonymous: we do not store your name or email with a correction.

Independence

Editorial content is independent of the professional directory. Directory statuses and paid placements are disclosed and never influence editorial conclusions.
