Who we are
Dwellmark is a UK property knowledge platform operating at dwellmark.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
Contact details for the controller are being finalised and will be shown here shortly. Until then, you can reach us through the enquiry form on any professional’s listing, or through the contact page, and we will route your message to the right person.
The short version
Dwellmark is a reading, calculating and directory-matching site. We collect personal data only where you give it to us (enquiries, applications, claims, corrections) or where it is generated by your use of the site (internal search queries and interaction events, kept without personal identifiers). We do not sell data. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. We use Plausible and Vercel Web Analytics to understand site usage without analytics cookies.

Cookies and similar technologies
When you first change an input in a calculator, we record a calculator interaction and the page path. We do not send or store the amounts you enter or the calculated results. These counts do not identify individual visitors.
We use no third-party cookies, no tracking pixels, no cross-site identifiers and no advertising technology. The only cookie is a strictly necessary session cookie used for the private administration area, which is not used by visitors. See our Cookies & Similar Technologies Notice.
Who we share data with
- Professionals you contact: enquiry details are passed to the professional you chose so they can respond.
- Service providers: Vercel (hosting and Web Analytics), Neon (database) and Plausible (website analytics) process data on our behalf. Plausible measures page views, engagement, outbound-link clicks, downloads and form-submission events, not the contents of form fields. See Plausible’s data policy.
- We never sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
International transfers
Our hosting and database providers may process data in the UK, the EU and the US. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data-protection law, including the providers’ data-transfer agreements.
Retention
- Enquiries and leads: kept until the matter is resolved, then up to 12 months.
- Applications and claims: kept for the life of the directory record.
- Search queries and interaction events: kept for 90 days in aggregate form.
- Corrections: kept as part of the editorial record.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any right, contact us using the details in this notice.
We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Directory statuses
Directory listings carry one of these statuses, defined in our Professional Directory Terms: Unclaimed (from a public register), Claimed (the business confirmed the listing), or Verified (Dwellmark confirmed identity and credentials). Status never implies an endorsement of competence, and payment never affects status.
